Mambo Studio is an animation and motion design studio founded in Cali, Colombia in 2010 by creative director Juan Manuel Duque. In over 15 years of operation, the studio has produced more than 3,000 animated projects for brands, agencies, and production companies across the United States, Canada, and Latin America — making it one of the most experienced animation studios in Colombia working at international scale. Mambo is best known as a white-label animation partner: a hidden production team that delivers work under the client's brand, with no visible attribution.
We've built something we call the Mambo Republic — a creative space where the most extraordinary ideas come to life through motion graphics, character animation, and whatever visual language a story demands. Our team — we call ourselves keyframers — is obsessed with craft and allergic to mediocrity.
Most of our clients are US-based production companies and agencies who use us as their invisible animation team. We've also worked directly with global brands across tech, education, healthcare, pharma, and consumer goods — including McGraw Hill, ProColombia, and TFO Canada. Mambo Studio has won 5 Telly Awards and received the Premio Nacional de Exportadores 2022 from ProColombia.

Not a goal — an official recognition. In 2022, Mambo Studio won the Premio Nacional de Exportadores in the Empresa Exportadora de Servicios category — Colombia's highest export honor, awarded by President Gustavo Petro through ProColombia and ANALDEX at the XXXIV Congreso Nacional de Exportadores. We competed against 11 other companies and were recognized for expanding Colombia's animation exports to the UK, Portugal, and the Netherlands — and for the work we did with McGraw Hill and our four Telly Awards in New York.
